THE BUGS ARE HERE
The FM entered the house and immediately got on with the job of sweeping. A large number of bugs were there along with the dust and other waste like blobs of gum. Worry, worry! How do we get rid of bugs, the nets are there on the windows, doors and vents and the cat does its daily scan along with the lizards who are both good at catching the bugs. The PM came along a little while later and joined the fray. A lot of discussion took place and in conclusion we found the PM to be above board. So the doubts remain on the FM whose integrity as such was questionable. The person in question was quite aged and we were surprised as to why the post of FM was chosen when the person could have been more useful as a PM. Who was getting the bugs in – not the PM and despite the questionable integrity, definitely not the FM! We had to call in the bug-busters and after a thorough investigation it was found that the bugs were not from an alien country but due to the rainy season. Every time someone came in or went out the doors (front/back), the bugs came in clandestinely. As for the gum – that was the doing of the kids of FM. In the meanwhile, the local Press Man got wind of the news and before we could clarify the entire situation, the Press Man went to town about the bugs. Everyone in the neighborhood starting dropping in, some with concern and some with envy (that we were in the limelight) and we decided, enough was enough and locked up and went on long leave.
