THE MINISTER IS PAST HIS PRIME
Consequent to the impasse between the government and the brother, a private meeting is in progress at 10J in New Delhi and the following is a true version of the proceedings.
SG: MMS has lost his marbles.
RG: You bet. And he seems to be closely followed by that other old chap PM the Bong.
PV: What’s going on and what marbles?
RV: You wouldn’t understand and so why don’t you go shopping.
PV: Don’t be patronizing!
SG: Don’t bother about her. What do we do now? We need an effective PM.
RG: Why not make PC the PM? He is still in his prime.
SG: Good choice, only the joker in the pack Ksibal will not like it.
RG: Not a bother, we will make him the Deputy PM.
RV: And what will we do with Soni, she will howl?
RG: We will make her Asst PM.
SG: I like your way of thinking. You should take over from MMS.
RG: No mom, it is better this way and we can shift all the blame on to them while we control these stooges.
SG: Okay, okay! But, what do we do with MMS?
RG: Why not make him PPM!
PV: What is that, some kind of pollution measurement?
RG: No, you idiot. It is Principal Prime Minister.
SG: Oh! For a moment there I thought it was Past his Prime Minister!!!
RV and PV: Ha, ha, ha!
RG: So it is agreed then?
SG: Of course, no doubt of it. Let us call in the media and let them know.
RV: Hang on; what do we do with PM the Bong?
SG: Yes, he definitely will create a fuss. Why not make him Addl PM?
RG: Ah ha! You have got that line of thinking! Right then let’s call the media.
PV: I’ll get a note prepared on marbles; I liked the way the kids play with them behind our house.
RV: Oh Gawd, what will I do with this idiot?
RG: I’ll tell the PA to prepare the note.
SG: But PV is the PA. Have you forgotten, cost cutting, remember anyone?
RG and RV; Shit!
Now, the entire cabinet is made up of Prime Ministers, some Deputy, some Additional and some Assistant. And what about MMS? Well, he is the Principal Prime Minister!!! And that is the reason, why we get divergent views from the ruling party and cabinet members in the media. Who gains: The MPs. Who loses: We the public.
