Richest country in the World

INDIA – THE WORLD’S RICHEST COUNTRY by KALI

Forget the US of A, forget the EU, forget the ASEAN, forget China, the richest country in the world is ours, India! The largest amount deposited in the tax havens of the world! These monies do not even earn interest and we could not care a damn as our country is the richest. The largest amount of gold – held by individuals, temples, manappuram and muthoot – again, with no productivity!

We have so much food grains in our country that we can afford to waste almost 30% of it – and that is the reason why we do not bother about food chains, cold storages, just-in-time systems, reefer transportation systems, modern processing systems and also the reason why we do not allow FDI in multi-brand retail! We do not encourage contract farming system, we do not encourage corporates to enter agriculture and these are the reasons why we do not like the way Pepsi Foods, the pizza chains, the burger chains, the fried chicken chains, the organized retail chains and hypermarkets operate in the field of agriculture – because they have sown the way (pun intended). We do not like agglomeration of small land holdings and wish to keep the farmers marginal, poor and downtrodden, so that middlemen and traders can exploit them and us, the consumers. This also allows a few individuals and departments unbridled control over marketing, logistics and storage and fat profits (for investing in tax havens) through corrupt practices! Imagine, a country which has an agro-based economy does not have enough storage space to provide for food security to the country! Actually we do not need any permanent measures for food security, we have so much food grains…!

We have so many reserves of petroleum crude and the capacity to import any amount of the same that we continue to encourage production of fuel inefficient vehicles. We do not encourage production/import of vehicles using alternative energy sources, instead we tax them heavily! We encourage unrestricted sale of vehicles despite knowing that our parking lots/slots and roads are not capable of accommodating the additional numbers! But then, we are a rich country and so everyone should have their choice of transport, planning be damned! We can also afford to waste huge amounts of fuel because of traffic jams, slow moving traffic and fuel inefficient vehicles!

We are so rich that we could not be bothered with productivity in our government offices and costing of the various jobs done by the staff! This attitude allows the staff to have any number of tea breaks, refuse service to customers/users, take their own sweet time to complete tasks/jobs and waste their and our time! But, how does it matter, we are the richest country in the world and we can afford to employ and pay fat salaries to such wastrels!

We are so rich that we can afford subsidized college education for every child, whether it is relevant or not to the career plan of the child! We just want to prove that we have the largest number of graduates in the world and it does not matter that these graduates are not provided employment or that they do not use the skills learned. We are also not worried about whether our education system is suited to the skills required in the job market! Once again, productivity has no place in our scheme of things.

We are so rich culturally that we can systematically deface and destroy our heritage! We can throw garbage anywhere in our country! We are not bothered with social niceties like not spitting in public, not urinating in public, avoid picking one’s nose in public or similar issues as we are rich and no one dare say anything against these unclean and unhygienic practices!

We are so rich that we do not have to value time and so we have a convoluted legal system that ensures that we waste as much time as possible in obtaining justice or get matters resolved legally. Planning and time lines and productivity are not something which we understand – we are too rich for that!

We have so many human beings in our country that we are not to be bothered with people dying due to disease, suicides, murders, traffic accidents, bad planning, etc. We can always produce more and more – we are the richest country in the world!

These are only some of the pointers to the richness of our country or the quality of richness of our country, take your pick!
