POTS AND HOLES

For the past many years, since the success of trips to our lone satellite, the moon, there has been talk of starting tourist trips and also of starting habitats on the moon. This has given the heeby jeebies to the realty sector as well as the infrastructure sector – both involving construction contractors and developers. They felt that if the habitats on the moon were to become a reality, then demand back home would further go down and most of them may have to wind up business. Since their illegitimate livelihoods were at stake, they hurriedly called for a meeting and after a large number of ideas were discussed over a period of weeks and months, they came up with a solution – why not create a moon like environment here on Earth itself.

And therein lay the reason for all the potholes on our roads, whether it is aamchi Mumbai or sussegaado Goa or corrupt Dilli or hideous Hyderabad. So, please do not worry if the suspension or an axle of your vehicle gives way and you are stranded – it is all for authenticity!
