Throughout history, mankind has witnessed that every time a powerful nation was in danger of collapsing, that nation automatically waged war. This helped the rulers of such nations in waxing eloquent to their citizens on the plus points of the war. However, they never tell the consequences of losing the war – in recent history, we have seen the results of such an occurrence with rapid regularity starting from Germany, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Egypt, Libya, Palestine and last but definitely not the least, the United Sinkers Association or USA.

Since the end of the Second World War, the USA has taken upon itself the halo of being a peacekeeper to the world and screwed up many countries in the bargain. Through the means of waging war they were responsible for the existing situation in the Koreas, erstwhile Indochina, Middle East, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Colombia, Cuba and many others. Their efforts at destabilizing these countries were supported by another bully, the erstwhile Soviet Union. Apart from waging war, these two bullies also exploited the resources of many nations in similar fashion to what England, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, France and other European nations did for over 400 years prior to the Second World War.

These two bullies also started a new type of war called Economic Warfare. In this type of war, they used to advance soft loans (to be repaid over a long period of time) in the name of providing development assistance. Then they used to destabilize the very same nations by supporting the most criminal ruler or government. In this regard, one must recall that the bullies only liked dictatorships or military rulers and not democracies as it was easier to deal with that one crook rather than the entire population of the nation. Such nations became so indebted that a large percentage of their GDP went into servicing these soft loans and ultimately became slaves to the bullies. The break-up of the Soviet Union, which should have come as a relief to many nations, only resulted in chaos in the nations subservient to them.

Today, with the USA on the verge of going into doldrums, the nations which are subservient to them are not a happy lot. As a matter of fact, any nation dealing with them through trade or financial investment or human investment is not happy. This is because the USA has been devious enough to allow many nations to invest in their country and the downfall would lead to these investor nations to also go into a spin. Only time will tell as to how many nations will come forward to bail out the Sinkers. Time will also tell whether all the nations in the world will become part of the USA – United Sinkers Association.
